Parking For Peace
Saturday, March 17
St Patrick’s Day is rapidly approaching, and that means Parking for Peace! For many years, businesses at the intersection of Montgomery and Ridge have allowed Ulster Project to stand at the entrance of their parking lots and collect $5 for parking on St. Patrick’s Day. As a volunteer, you would pair with another UP volunteer and stand at the entrance to the parking lots. When cars pull up to park, you say “$5 please”–it’s very easy and a great way to give back to the Project. Teens and Parents are both encouraged to participate.
With this year falling on a Saturday, we will park until 11:00pm. We need Dads to fill up the late schedule; teens will be welcome to work this shift but they will be paired with a Dad. Check out the schedule below, pick a time and send and me (Mike Annis) an email with your choice of time to mikeandbetsy47060@fuse.net. We’ll then confirm your time and our undying gratitude.
3:00 – 5:00 pm: 8 volunteers needed

7:00 – 9:00 pm: 8 volunteers needed
